#DenimWeek: DIY Distressed Denim Jacket

Get an old denim jacket and try to destroy it, is not as easy as it looks...
I just saw a ripped denim jacket on Pinterest and swore I could DIY it. How hard can it be to rip denim? ha! I ended up with numb arms and a wounded leg but nailed it! at least did my best effort. Let me tell you that is not easy or fast but its worth. Here mine:
1. Draw a few marks on the places youl'd like the cuts.
2. Place something thick between the front part of the jacket and the back in order to protect the back part.
3.do the first incisions very carefully with a cutter.
4. Separa con cuidado
4.Pull apart
5. Más
5. More
6. Scrape the cuts horizontally in order to take the denim off and leave the white fabric.
7. Do it again and again until you get what you like. I did just three cuts.
